The Scottish Huntington’s Association (SHA) has received nearly 150 entries for its innovative flash fiction writing competition.
Winners to be announced in October, the competition was to raise awareness of the work the charity does with families living with the degenerative brain condition Huntington’s disease (HD).
‘This has been a fantastic exercise in spreading the word about the devastating impact HD has on families,’ said SHA chief executive, John Eden. ‘The quality of entries has been excellent.’
